“Fellowship” is a quaint term. You hear it most often in church settings and in the Lord of the Rings Movies. The word conjures up an image of group camaraderie, joyful celebration, and good friends. After going through our food bank, a community member said to me: “Now I can enjoy the real reason I come here, for the fellowship”. He proceeded to sit at one of the activity tables and soon a friend sat down with him and they chatted while doing Word Searches. I was delighted that this is what our community member felt the food bank was about. Too bad I was so “busy” that I could not just sit and talk with them.
