World Vision donated seven boxes of adult multi-vitamins. We struggled a bit with how to offer them to our community. Would anyone want them? Should we be promoting them? What instructions for use and warnings should be given? After a lot of discussion we decided that they would likely benefit members of our community. However, we would only make the vitamins available and not “push” them. Also, we gave a standard caution so that the community member would know that they should need to make the decision to use them themselves. But what a hit! Almost everyone wanted them. Many asked for a second bottle. We had to rush into the storage room to break open a new box of containers. Clearly people wanted access to the vitamins but were not able to afford them on their budgets. Thanks World Vision!
