She came storming into to Food Bank slightly out of breath with two heavy bags. “I have some food I want to donate” she panted. I helped her unload the bags. Included were eight containers of pasta sauce, something we were running out of that morning. There was also a large can of fruit that we were able to give to a mother and young child who did not like the traditional 'Canadian' food we were offering that day. But that was not the best part. Our newest donor was a former client. “I don’t forget where I came from” she said. “You have been there for me in the past and I want to give back.” These are the kind of moments that make it all worth while. Thank you friend. And thank you God.
